How to deal with overheating of the floor scrubber motor

In fact, the main component of a floor scrubber is the motor, so when choosing a floor scrubber, users must recognize the quality of the motor. A good floor scrubber motor not only has a long service life, but also has a better cleaning effect to a certain extent. Once there is a problem with the motor of the floor scrubber, stop working to check where the problem is and the severity of the problem. For example, many users have reported to us after sales that the generator of the floor scrubber generates heat during use, which affects work efficiency. They would like to inquire about how to solve this problem? Can it still be used? The motor is an important component of the entire floor scrubber, and any problem that occurs must be repaired in a timely manner, otherwise it will seriously affect the working performance of the floor scrubber. So how should we solve this problem? We have been engaged in cleaning equipment for Yao Environmental Protection for nearly ten years and are very familiar with floor scrubber products. We believe that solving this should be divided into two steps:

1、 Analysis principles;

We can analyze the principle of troubleshooting the motor of the floor scrubber from the following four points:

1. The bearings of the floor scrubber may lack oil or have too small clearance, which can seriously cause severe friction and overheating of the bearings.

2. The floor scrubber has been used for a long time, causing severe wear or damage to the bearings, as well as bending of the rotor shaft or installation errors in the magnetic plates, resulting in collision and friction between the rotor magnetic poles and the stator iron core. Immediately sweep the chamber.

3. Short circuit, open circuit, or wiring error between stator coils can cause short circuit current to be generated inside the motor of the hair washing machine.

4. The generator of the floor scrubber has a large workload and is severely overloaded during operation.

2. After identifying the problem, troubleshoot it and find a solution:

1. In the process of selling floor scrubbers, we always recommend that users regularly maintain and inspect the generator during the use of the scrubber. This can improve work efficiency and detect problems in a timely manner. If the cause is due to oil shortage, it is recommended to add composite calcium based grease in a timely manner. Generally, fill 2/3 of the bearing cavity.

If the bearings are found to be bent or worn during inspection, which is also the cause of motor overheating, we need to replace the bearings, correct the rotor shaft, iron core, etc.

3. Use a multimeter or test lamp method to check if the stator coil is short circuited or open circuited. If so, rewind the stator coil.

4. Check if the motor of the floor scrubber is working under load and if the generator matches. If it does not match, it should be replaced.

Based on the above, we can see that there are many reasons that cause the motor of the floor scrubber to overheat. Therefore, when using the floor scrubber, we also need to have a clear understanding of its structure, accessories, and working principle. This way, if there are any faults that occur during work, we can solve them ourselves, so as not to affect work
